An island project that seeks a new experience within the familiar rather than a spectacular architecture; sea, sand, wind and shade are accepted as essential parts of the architecture, and the buildings choose to disappear into the island rather than stand in front of it. Built around privacy, intimacy and calm, the design uses courtyards and eaves to give people small “niches” to lean back into within the endlessness of the ocean.
